As we enter in to the winter cold season, we have decided to set up a new dedicated email address for parents to use, just to notify us of children with COVID-19 symptoms and the day you have got them tested and then their test result.
The new email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
When to email
Please use this email address ONLY to report your child’s absence if they:
This email address will be monitored throughout the school day and we would ask that you please email rather than call the school office to report your child’s absence, if it is related to COVID-19.
What to write in your email
When emailing please include the following:
It is also really important if your child has taken a COVID-19 test and is absent from school, that you inform the school as soon as you have the test result either positive or negative. Please email this through to the ‘notify’ email address email@example.com
For all other absences not related to COVID-19 please continue to report this via the StudyBugs app or by leaving a message on the school’s absence line on the morning of your child’s absence.
